This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am reaching out to you on behalf of our middle school's media center, where we strive to create an inclusive environment for all students, including those with autism. We are seeking your support to provide fidget and sensory toys that will aid in the education and comfort of these students during their time in the media center.

For many autistic students, traditional learning environments can be overwhelming, making it difficult for them to focus and engage; however, with the introduction of fidget and sensory toys, we can offer them tools to manage their sensory needs and channel their energy in a constructive manner.

These toys provide tactile stimulation and promote self-regulation, allowing students to better concentrate on their studies and fully participate in classroom activities. With your generous donations, we can create a welcoming space where every student feels supported and empowered to learn.
