My Project

I teach Science and Math to 8th grade girls at my school. In the U.S., approximately 43% of scientists are female. I'd like to increase that percentage by motivating and inspiring my students to pursue a career in the sciences. What better way could there be then to use hands-on experiments with robots, circuits, and chemicals?

I am asking for the robotic, circuit, and chemical kits so I can thoroughly engage my students in the world of science.

My students have completed several experiments in class. Their enthusiasm and natural curiosity has led to many incredibly interesting and thought-provoking discussions about the experiments. I'd like to take their inquisitiveness to a higher level by challenging them with more in-depth and rigorous experiments.
