Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I teach amazing students who are multilingual learners and benefit from visuals to help them understand stories and lessons. I also teach students who need support with communication and will benefit from illustrations to manipulate in retelling or sequencing a story. These felt boards and story pieces will help me support my students.

I will use these materials in my English Language Development classes to make learning more engaging and encourage students to participate with storytelling.

My students are eager to learn and love school! I love being able to bring new materials and joy into my lessons to support them.
