My Project

Social emotional learning is critical to a successful education experience. The fidgets and manipulatives will provide my students will the opportunity to better understand their feelings and manage their emotions.

Elementary students are learning so many different things and dealing with emotions can interfere with ones ability to focus.

These supplies will aid in my small groups and one on one counseling sessions. Students will learn to redirect their emotions and express themselves. Fidgets can help students regain focus and control of their emotions. Anger management is part of this effort as well.

Young children have real anger and suffer from loss and trauma. Their feelings have to be taken seriously and dealt with the same urgency as adults. They are hurting and crying out for help.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
