My Students

I love the fact that my students are dedicated to a safe learning space and strive for that extra push. 99% of our students receive free or reduced-price lunch and are minorities, yet they look forward to learning, how bodies are organized and created, what makes us tick and what causes that fight or flight response.

I love how they look toward each day and what we are going to discover next.

It's great to see that they do not let negative situations affect their flair for learning.

My Project

When the majority of your students receive free lunch, they do not eat until they come to school for breakfast and lunch. Providing them with food and snacks as well as necessary hygiene products will help their learning environment and overall confidence, so they feel better.

So many students are without basic necessities such as toothbrushes, toothpaste, soap, feminine products, and bandages.

These simple items will make the biggest difference to some of our students who do not have them and are ashamed to ask. Providing these hygiene items and snacks in a discreet bag will be greatly appreciated by the kids.
