Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I teach the very colorful department of Special Eduction for all students within the Special Day Class program offered at Nightingale Middle School. Most of my students have accommodations and modifications that require re-instruction, simplified instruction, extended periods of time for assignments and tests. With all of those accommodations and modifications, our population tends to get overstimulated and they require a form to release the academic anxiety they're building up. Students have requested fidget toys and spinners that I have brought to class as a trial, and they loved them. These new fidgets will keep us supplied for a long time.
