My Project

Food is rather expensive here and my students are most appreciative of snacks made available while they attend a voluntary after-school program designed to provide remediation and enrichment. Good nutrition is an important part of healthy brain development and learning becomes easier and more enjoyable when you are not hungry. My students are eager to learn and it is a wonderful opportunity for them to focus on topics that interest them and enjoy a bite to eat when they chose to participate in our after-school program four days each week.
