My classroom is packed full of fun, movement, energy, and growing young minds!
My Kindergartners are thrilling and eager to learn.
They excite me every day as I watch them learn and grow. When you're five years old, the world around you is full of new and exciting things. Some of my students haven't yet discovered the wonders of the world and need a plethora of experiences to grow into the best citizens they can be!
My students come from a very diverse background. The majority of our students qualify for free or reduced-rate lunch and oftentimes don't have access to certain resources unless they are at school. My goal every day is to provide my students with as many opportunities as possible while pushing them to exceed our Kindergarten standards. My favorite way to do this is through engaging, exciting, activities that make learning fun!
My Project
Each and every day my kindergarten students work very hard learning so many new things. For so many students, kindergarten is their first full day school experience and their little tummies aren't used to the long days of reading, writing, and problem-solving. Having healthy snacks to nourish their bodies and minds will allow them to do their very best in school.
Having a snack each day will help my kinders stay focused on their learning instead of worrying about being hungry, so they can stay happy and healthy.
Getting clean and healthy snacks like Veggie Straws, Cheez-its, animal crackers, fruit snacks, and granola bars will give my new learners a small break in their busy days and will keep their tummies full and their brains healthy.
Snacks will give my kinders’ brains the fuel they need to learn and grow all day long! They will be healthier and more successful because they will be nourished and happy!
