My students need a camcorder to capture high school memories and "show off" their talent for filming and video editing lessons.

Got Talent? My Computer Applications classes do....and I want to feature that talent by allowing my students to design, shoot, edit, and create their own mini movie productions.

The goal....the dream...is to have students work in groups of four and take the camera to school sporting events, award ceremonies, community service activities, fund raising events, social events, and other school functions to film, edit, and create a mini production.

We have just purchased the new software but are in need of a camcorder. This project will help students to work in groups, delegate responsibility, and use creative higher order thinking skills needed in today's workforce.

Students will feature their projects during our Multimedia Presentations that run during lunch. We would also like to team up with the Art Teacher to help produce our own "film festival" or fine art exhibit. Your donation could help my students be on their way to being the next Ron Howard or Steven Spielberg. Thank you!
