This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
We will be serving our Life Skills Special Education Community. They will be utilizing the aprons, id badges, folders, and more to be responsible for their work attire and being ready for work.
These items provided will support the students in vocational and life skills.
The students will be responsible for completing box delivery, running a class business store, and maintaining a cleaning crew. The Pocket will hold their ID badges and job supports needed. The hooks will provide a place for them to hang their work attire that is associated with the task. Teachers pay Teachers card will help increase knowledge of areas where these young adults may have weaknesses. Every item on the list is thought out purposefully and intentionally.
Students will gain skills throughout the year with natural cues to help them strengthen interests that they already have obtained. These tasks will partner with their Individual Education Program goals. Each student will have a part that is tailored specific to what they are needing for optimal growth.
