My students are in a self contained classroom. In our classroom, we work on everyday life skills. We also work towards growing to know each individual's likes and dislikes to match them with a potential job skill. Our goal is to provide our students with employability skills after graduation. We would like to offer them the opportunity to learn different skills and tasks to help them make themselves more marketable. They will use these items to make cards, tumblers, holiday creations, potpourri, and other specialty gifts. Not only will these supplies help with employability but also with confidence! As these students grow in knowledge of skills, they will be able to see all that they are capable of doing in life! I want them to believe in themselves as much as I believe in them!
