Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

Earth Day extravaganza to overhaul our rustic picnic garden.

The class plans to clean up and remove rubbish to create a fantasy picnic area.

This area will become a beautified outdoor walking area filled with lush plants. The students will be able to read books or sit down and do a mindful breathing exercise to connect with nature.

The plants will spark new growth and allow butterflies and lady bugs to come back and help restore the ecosystem around the area.

Students are looking forward to spending more time outside in nature and this will also give them a chance to eat lunch with their teachers.

The planters will include IEP, EIP, Gifted and General education students.
