Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We are looking to begin a family closet for the entire district filled with toiletries and other "basic needs" items for our students and their families who may benefit from the assistance. The goal of this project is to ensure that all students have access to basic hygiene items in order to feel healthy, confident and ready to learn. Being able to stock and maintain this family closet with items such as toothpaste, toothbrushes, food, clothing items, shampoo, deodorant and other personal care items at no cost would be a significant addition to our community.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
