My Students

My students are excited about learning and love hands-on opportunities to explore. They come to school every day excited to learn something new. They have a desire to understand why things work and move the way they do.

My students want to explore science and how it is used in our every day living.

Many of them are easily encouraged to read and work when give the opportunity to work independently and think freely. They would really enjoy having STEM in the classroom.

My Project

Not only will my current students be able to fall in love with STEM by exploring magnets and engineering techniques, but all of my future students will do so as well. With these STEM kits, students will have a fun way to develop their STEM skills. They will construct bridges for cars to cross, build marble mazes and learn how magnets work.

Students will learn to answer questions like "How are bridges designed?" and "What makes a bridge strong?" Students will be encouraged to build and explore with hands-on manipulatives that invite children to build, explore and engineer over and over.

Students will be able to use these kits every week!
