My Students

Stateside Patriots may be some of the most patriotic students that walk this Earth! We pride ourselves in being a military community and embracing the diversity that comes with it. Most of the students are military affiliated and others are local, which allows for a diverse mixture of ideas. After the destruction of Hurricane Florence, we came together stronger than ever.

Every year, students learn how to treat one another.

"Big Mama" encourages a classroom that is filled with respect and compassion. Students work together to master their education standards while they also master life lessons.

My Project

The Guided Reading Collection would provide a teacher to work with students on their reading level. I also plan to use the leveled texts as a read to self station so students are not overwhelmed by books that are not a "good fit.”

The Hot Dot Talking Pens and subtraction flashcards are an asset to any math rotation because they provide instant feedback to students.

This allows the teacher to work with a different small groups and provide guided and differentiated instruction.

All of these materials would make a difference in my students learning because it would provide them with the independence and flexibility they need to become successful.
