"You have such a sweet class!" is a comment I hear every single year. My lessons include empathy and kindness. Students are always willing to help one another and work collaboratively with peers. In my class, we work together to accomplish goals and discuss the obstacles and how to overcome them. In this classroom, we care for one another and that is what gives us the extra edge to succeed academically.
