Fahrenheit 451:The Authorized Adaptation will engage reluctant readers by capturing their interest in graphics and timeless stories. The graphic novel is a male-friendly text but will appeal to students who may be reluctant to read otherwise. Also, many classics that are now presented visually to hook teen readers. Most high school students are not lured to read the classics because they're perceived as boring.

Graphic stories offer students another choice and often appeal to the most reluctant of readers.

Simply, this selection shares a classic tale visually with graphics. The novel hasn't changed but the graphics entice modern students to dive in.
