My Project

We are looking for more ways to solidify our knowledge of all our multiplication facts! Third Grade is a turning point year for math, and it is a huge jump between 2nd to 3rd grade. In order to be ready to move on to Fourth, it is important to master our multiplication and division facts.

The best way to cement learning is by interacting with multiplication facts in multiple ways!

We play games, listen to skip-counting songs, do card sorts to see patterns, etc. There are so many ways to learn math, and we want to help every child have access to a way of learning their facts that works for them.

This project would create a space in our classroom dedicated to fact fluency and would add in a card game for each multiplication fact. It would also give us some card sorts that help us practice our multiplication facts in a low stakes, high impact way.
