My Project

Our school just approved our first-ever fashion course! We have been working all school year with no budget and relying solely on donated items from the community. We just found out that we are getting six brand new Janome sewing machines donated to us thanks to some fantastic families and organizations and we are so excited to begin using them. The only thing we need now is the fabric to start constructing clothing garments with. This project donation will help us begin learning how to use our new sawing machines. We will start with learning basic seams and stitches and move on to making bucket hats. Once those are complete students will begin to choose a garment they want to create and begin sewing them!
