Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

I recently asked one of my PE classes what their favorite snacks are. Most of the students who replied said, "Fruit leather." I was so surprised. Instead of chips, I heard fruit leather! I had no idea that my students liked the fruit leather snacks they received from Donors Choose so much.

These fruit snacks I'm requesting aren't the exact kind that they are used to because those are no longer available.

But they are very similar, and I think my students will enjoy them just as much. The granola bars, spicy chips and breakfast bars will provide my students with different preferences a variety of snacks to choose from. Having this kind of choice will help my students choose a snack that they will be able to enjoy.
