This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I work in a Title I school where 92% get free and reduced-price lunch. In addition, many of them live on or below the poverty line, but what they lack in money they make up by being caring, loving, intelligent, and hardworking.

My kids are mostly immigrants in necessity, with gaps in reading and math, but they are eager learners capable of withstanding the difficulties set forth in their lives.

We are a village that takes care of their young ones. We are child-oriented and child-driven to make a better tomorrow.

My Project

This will greatly benefit all students in my class. The document camera will be connected to the computer and will be shared with the computer screens of my students while remote learning, when we come back to the classroom it will be sent through the LCD projector onto a screen in the classroom. The computer, LCD projector and screen are available at my school. The document camera can be used in many ways and in different area of the school day. The document camera can be used to project science demonstrations, display sample work, project books or photographs, and as an observation tool to view science projects.
