This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The skills my students learn in journalism help them across all their classes. They become the eyes and ears of the school while learning invaluable real-life and critical thinking skills when they report the news that matters to their peers.

I've seen the shyest of students shine when they find themselves behind a camera.

The ones who are afraid to speak up in class are amazing listeners when they do interviews.

The equipment I am asking for will help keep the equipment safe and help improve the audio quality of our productions.

The filters protect the few lenses we have against accidents, and the headphones will be used for many things, from transcribing interviews, to making sure the audio being recorded sounds as good as can be.
