My Students

I have 22 energetic second graders who come to school excited and ready to learn every day. These students come from a variety of backgrounds, with many different needs, and they Love to read! Unfortunately most of these students have a very limited number of books at home, if any at all.

My students are determined and excited about reading and want to be the best readers they can be!

They love reading all types of books and are eager to read new books! My students are hard working, determined, and loving and deserve the best classroom library I can give them!

My Project

These books will help enhance the library I strive to have for my students. Our class library is one of my students favorite places and a place where they spend much of their daily time. I want to place more books in my students hands that they enjoy reading.

These new books will allow my students to choose from a variety of current trending books and allow them to read independently at their level.

Students will be excited about reading and choosing books that interest them. Their excitement for reading will also improve their ability to read. My students are already greatly interested in independent reading time, this project will only help encourage their love for reading!
