My Students
Spruce up our classroom! Our room is lacking color, excitement, and new furniture.
My students are special education kids with various needs and abilities. They all have different learning styles. They attend an urban neighborhood school. They face struggles on a daily basis and many times school is the only consistent, safe place in their life.
My Project
I have requested a rug, book rack, and new table for my students. This is the first year that they will have a brand new spacious room to learn in and we need some new furniture to get them excited about learning. The furniture we have now is older and not in the best shape. Having these new items will brighten up the room and create a better atmosphere.
This project is so important because it will have an impact on all of my students. Being a fairly new teacher, my classroom does not have many materials. This new table, rug and book will get so much use and will follow me through my teaching career.
