My Project

It is my goal to create a special education classroom where students feel safe and empowered. This will help them be their best selves and learn at their fullest capacity.

My students have a wide range of personalities and needs that make them unique.

The light covers and curtain rods will help to reduce harsh light and create a calm atmosphere. The flexible seating options like the chair bands, wobble stools and balance ball will address my students varying needs related to attention and sensory input. The classroom rug will create a welcoming gathering place for small group instruction.
