Many students eagerly explored the dry erase boards, books, and hands-on learning tools, quickly incorporating them into their work. The dry erase boards have become a favorite, allowing students to practice writing letters, building words, and solving math problems while developing confidence through repetition and self-correction. The classroom books, especially What If Everybody Did That?, have sparked meaningful conversations during grace and courtesy lessons and are often referenced by students throughout the day as they make thoughtful choices.\r\n\r\nThese materials are now an integral part of our daily classroom routines. Students use the magnetic wands and chips to build and spell words, strengthening phonics, sound blending, and early reading skills in a tactile way. The colored pencils support creative expression and careful work, as students label diagrams, illustrate stories, and add detail to their learning. Our science studies have also been enriched by books like How a Seed Grows, helping students connect hands-on exploration to real-world concepts.\r\n\r\nThe organizational and preparation tools have had a significant behind-the-scenes impact. The printer, laminating pouches, paper trimmer, trays, and wooden mail sorter allow me to create durable, reusable materials and maintain clear systems for student work. As a result, students are able to independently find, complete, and submit assignments, building responsibility, confidence, and ownership of their learning. Thank you for helping create a classroom environment that truly supports independence and meaningful learning every day.","fullyFundedDate":1760359252109,"projectUrl":"project/building-readers-writers-and-independe/9821945/","projectTitle":"Building Readers, Writers, and Independent Thinkers!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Gabby","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp10310031_orig.jpg?crop=552,552,x0,y9&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1767402721853","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10310031"},{"teacherId":10310470,"projectId":9823451,"letterContent":"We are thrilled to share our heartfelt thanks to all of the generous supporters who made our DonorsChoose project possible.
