My Project

The students at Lely Elementary School are always on the lookout for new books in our media center. Fortunately, we have had great support from the Donors Choose community and we have been able to purchase the books that will challenge these kids and help them become better advocates for themselves and their causes.

The Ordinary People series shows kids that every single person can be extraordinary.

These books are very kid-friendly and the kids read one after another. The kids really connect with the stories of these people's lives. When kids see the great things that ordinary people can do, they are motivated to pursue their interests and make a big impact on their school community.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
