Extraordinary Creations STEM From Nurturing Environments
My students need a classroom with a variety of STEM materials! With materials like a Playstix Deluxe Set, Wooden Pattern Blocks, Letter Construction Activity Set I can deliver a fun and engaging STEM curriculum to foster a lifelong love of learning within my Kindergarteners.
My incoming Kindergarten students will be the first generation to experience our brand new STEM based school from start to finish! As this is my first year as a lead teacher, my students and I will share a unique bond as we explore our new school together.
The students, their families, and myself are so excited for this brand new school and an opportunity to learn from one another through project based learning experiences!
My students will have the opportunity to be researchers and problem solvers while developing necessary social and emotional skills for the 21st century.
My Project
My students need a classroom rich in STEM materials! I have included several materials that will support the classroom curriculum as well as the individual interests of my students...or should I say architects, mathematicians, scientists, engineers, and more. My little architects need the 100 Piece Natural Wooden Building Block Set and the Learning Resources Wooden Pattern Blocks so they can build skyscrapers in our block area and intricate geometric designs to develop their mathematical skills. The Learning Resources Letter Construction Activity not only develops literacy skills, but also provides a hands-on project approach to constructing letters. My Engineers will love using our Popular PlayThings Playstix Delux set to create model cars, houses, bridges and more. My students will be positively attracted to the Magnetic Blocks Building set that will support our science unit on magnets and provide tangible items for my students to explore. The Math Marks The Spot game not only builds math fluency but also supports my kinesthetic learners. These are just a few of the STEM materials I have included for my classroom.
