My Students
4th grade students with a thirst to learn....My students come from families of varying socio-economic backgrounds who struggle with providing the basic daily necessities for their children. Most depend of the two meals a day provided by the school for security.
I teach students with varying disabilities; specific learning disabilities, social/emotional disabilities, Health disabilities, and Autism, to name a few.
We work in small groups throughout the day when not in whole group instruction.
My Project
Given the use of an extra monitor, while teaching remotely or in-person for myself and my co-teacher, they will provide the opportunity to teach using more visuals for students. Learning is difficult as it is in, in person, now given remote learning, students will require as much in-person teaching with visuals to capture their attention and keep it. While we are hoping to have the use of two monitors, it will also allow for closer supervision of each student while sharing another screen to make sure they are doing what they are supposed to be.
