Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are full of curiosity! They are constantly asking questions about how things work, what things are and where things take place. They are definitely hungry for knowledge.

Students who ask questions are active participants in their learning.

Giving students the opportunity to learn about the world around them outside of the classroom will help them find answers to their questions and lead to more discoveries. I am requesting a classroom subscription for Scholastic Let's Find Out Magazines. The individual monthly magazine issues cover many of the topics which are of high interest to my students. Some of the common topics include animals, weather, holidays, and other science and social studies topics. Using these magazines will help my students gain a greater understanding of the topics that peak their interests and the individual copies can be sent home for further discussions with their families.

I look forward to watching my students use the magazines to increase their learning.
