This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

For this project, I am requesting Scholastic News magazines for fifth graders.

Scholastic News is a wonderful way to engage students in reading about non-fiction topics.

Previous articles have featured biographies, information about animals, science, and technology. An online subscription to Scholastic News will provide us with wonderful supplemental resources, including comprehension sheets, vocabulary slides, and exciting videos. These components give the students opportunities to learn in different ways.
