My Project

My kindergarten classroom is filled with curious, eager learners who are just beginning their educational journey. As a Title I school teacher, I serve students who benefit greatly from additional support and resources—especially when it comes to reinforcing learning at home.

In these early years, building strong foundations in reading, writing, and math is critical.

However, many of my students do not always have access to materials at home that allow them to practice and strengthen these essential skills. My goal is to bridge that gap by providing structured, engaging take-home learning opportunities that connect school and home.

To make this possible, I am requesting take-home folders, zipper pouches, and sheet protectors so each child can safely transport and reuse their practice materials. These tools will help keep learning organized and accessible for families. I am also requesting a laminator and laminating pouches, which will allow me to create durable, reusable activities that students can practice with again and again—both in the classroom and at home.

With these materials, I will be able to send home hands-on, interactive activities that reinforce what we are learning each day. Families will have the opportunity to actively participate in their child’s education, strengthening the home-school connection and building confidence in young learners.

By extending learning beyond the classroom, we are not only supporting academic growth—we are fostering independence, responsibility, and a love for learning. Your support will help ensure that every child in my classroom has the tools they need to succeed, both in school and at home.
