My students are incredible. I have 24 motivated English language learners who are eager to learn. My students come from low socioeconomic backgrounds with limited resources available to them. We are a Title I Performance Improvement School, with one hundred percent of our students on the free lunch program. Many parents work two jobs and are struggling to support their families.
Though their outside environment may not be conducive to learning, my students have an insatiable love of learning.
I know that if we provide them with the right support, resources, and opportunities, they can experience success.
We recently had a project funded for 3 digital cameras. The parents take their child to any destination in LA and they have to take a picture with our stuffed “Ally” the Gator. Problem was that there was no memory chip so they only were able to take 1 picture. That’s why we need the 3 memory cards to put in each camera.
The engravers are for our devices, tablets, and headphones.
I want to engrave our school name, room, and school code so if it gets lost, it can be returned. We want to make sure our technology is protected.
Last, the extension cord is for our new charging cart. It’s a bit far from the outlet so adding the extension cord will connect the cart so our devices will stay fully charged.
