My Students
I work in a very high needs school in the Bronx. We have limited access to learning tools and books. I am looking for ways to make learning more accessible to my students. My students are in an Integrated Co-Teaching classroom. They are an exciting group of mixed interest, abilities, and goals. Some of my students are reading above their grade level and others are struggling to sound out words and make meaning of what they are reading. My goal, as a teacher, is to meet students where they are and motivate them to go above and beyond.
These projects will allow me to bring exciting and educational projects to the families in our school community to foster the love of learning and expose them to new ideas.

My Project
The notebooks, folders, privacy partitions, and organizational baskets will help the Writer's Workshop process run smoothly from day to day. The students will also have a notebook to write anything they choose to help them destress before school begins in order for them to focus on their academic success.
The donations to this project will help to improve my students writing!
By continuing to implement the Writer's Workshop model, my students will continue to see themselves as true authors and illustrators. We will use these materials to aid in the process of becoming life-long writers. I truly need your support to make this a reality. Thanks!
