Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are enthusiastic learners. We live in a low income area where my students come to school to escape the many hardships in their lives. Most of my students don’t have access to supplies or technology and are only able to use them at school. My class needs so many resources to prepare them for their future. My students love to learn and I want them to access all subject areas.
My Project
Help me brighten my student's day by giving them art supplies to express their social emotional needs. We need supplies such as journals, markers, and colored pencils so my students can create and express how they are feeling. I would like to provide these to my students since they don't have access to these materials while learning at home.
My students need a creative outlet during these difficult times.
Art will allow them a way to express their feelings and enjoy themselves. I want my students to have something to look forward to every week as we learn to draw and create with these materials.
