Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

These materials will be used to support writing through art creativity. My students will collaborate with students of challenged abilities in creating art together and then supporting their buddies in writing. The quick stick tempera paints will be used in patterns and designing pieces artwork. Paint brushes and paper will be used to create sceneries. The tissue paper will be used to create paper mache works of art.

By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve cultural awareness and increase student attention and focus, you will ultimately help to increase their social emotional skills.

The art supplies you will be donating to will foster relationships among students of diverse backgrounds and needs. The students will make pinatas, stained art glass and other art projects.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
