Help me give my students an opportunity to express their emotions through painting and crafting. Students deal with anxiety and mental health issues that I want to improve ways in which they can cope and succeed.
As a teacher I know that academics are important for a student's success. These last few years have also reminded me that a student's self-worth is just as important. Making connections with a student is my number one goal and academics will come. My students need to learn to express themselves and through painting and crafting they can do it. This will give them an outlet to share if they wish. The world is a tough place and their home lives can be challenging. I want to give my students a chance to enjoy art and not worry about something for just a bit. Thanks for allowing them this chance.
