Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The students have decided that they wanted to learn about animals, so we are acquiring a class pet! It will be a tortoise and a fish. We will be taking care and observing the animals to learn about different habitats. My students will also be learning about how to grow their own food!

We will be learning about about plants and fungi too, and the students will be able to observe these really cool tools and materials while also learn how to write about what they are observing.

My students are really fascinated about animals and how we coexist with them.
