Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our goal is to create an engaging and immersive learning environment where preschoolers can explore the fascinating concepts of weather.

Since our students are early learners, they will need lots of hands on experiences to solidify their learning.

Weather Books will introduce preschoolers to weather concepts in a fun and accessible way, and they will be able to take them home to read with their families, to keep our home to school connection going.

The sensory bottles will allow our students to explore different ways that weather affects water, like creating clouds in a jar, making a tornado in a bottle, and exploring the water cycle.

The changing seasons toys will reinforce weather vocabulary and concepts through play. Cloud slime kits will help our students meet their sensory needs while giving them the idea that clouds feel wet. Our concrete learners will love shaping their clouds.

With your generous support, we can transform our classroom into a dynamic weather laboratory, sparking curiosity and fostering a lifelong love for science in our little learners.
