My Project

Hello everyone. Thank you for taking the time to consider funding my class painting projects. We would love to have the FIFO squeeze bottles to make it easier to use our tempera paints.

I love watercolor and am hoping to allow my students to explore it more in depth.

We can then take what we learn with the watercolor projects and apply it to the "alcohol ink" techniques that can be achieved with Sharpies and isopropyl alcohol. I would also love for my students to be able to experiment with new colors that aren't included in the typical palette.

With these two projects, we can incorporate STEM by discussing how the alcohol reacts with the pigment in the sharpies, and how the water absorbs into the paper and disperses the pigment of the watercolors.

My students have enjoyed painting this semester, and I want to let them explore it further.
