Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

One of my favorite things as a teacher is giving my students the opportunity to make connections through hands-on activities. I love seeing them work together while having fun during stations.

The products that I have selected will help enhance my students' learning.

The letter construction will help my students enhance their motor skills, the wooden spelling blocks will help my students spell common CVC words, and the dry-erase markers and crayons will allow my students to write these words and letters using different materials. The plants, rocks, and magnet kits are going to be used in my science station. My students love doing stations every day, unfortunately, I myself am not able to provide them with the opportunity to explore everything I would want them to, but with these products, my students will have a chance to physically explore what they are learning. Not only is learning through exploration very important in a child's learning process, but it is also very exciting for these little scholars.
