My Students

Fantastic fourth graders are making new exciting discoveries and exploring their own opinions about the world around them. Seeing the world through their eyes is a joy. I love how fourth graders engage in discussions and are endlessly curious, ready to make their mark!

My Project

My fourth graders would greatly benefit from a good quality news source, written specifically for them, to help them to become critical thinkers who are engaged with the world around them! A subscription to Scholastic News would provide my students with their own news source and a magazine to bring home to read again or spark interesting discussions at home. Sparking authentic curiosity is best achieved with a variety of sources. Students will read and write about current events and be inspired to explore further using a Scholastic News subscription.
