Exploring the World of Insects Together in the Library

Help me give my students a close look into the world of insects with insect specimens, a butterfly pavilion, insect life cycle figurines, and fascinating books about insects!

My Project

This project will help our students learn important scientific concepts as they examine insects closer. Through hands-on exploration and dialogue, they will build the important scientific skills of inquiry and analysis.

Students will experience the joy of scientific inquiry as they examine an insect biorama and insects in resin, build insect life cycles, and examine insect x-rays.

Their budding interest in insects will grow as read fascinating books about insects and the people who adore them. Our students are curious about our natural world. Introducing them to scientific inquiry through topics that they are already interested in builds their inquiry skills for other areas of study.
