My students come together each day to work and learn in a caring community. We are lucky to have a beautiful, red brick Georgian Colonial school building, built in the 1920s.

The beauty of my school is in the children who represent the melting pot of America, with cultural and socioeconomic diversity. My students along with their parents and teachers commit to learning and working together each day, making the world a better place for everyone.
My Project
The addition of a document camera, projector and whiteboard to our Art classroom will help us see, analyze, and critique art in a highly authentic way. This will support students growing ability to create their own artwork in meaningful ways.
This equipment will allow students to view master artworks in their true size and share their own artwork in a dynamic way.
We will be able to go on virtual tours in world famous art museums and hear current artists talk about their work in taped interview settings. In short students will be engaging in learning through the arts at a much deeper level as they expand personal knowledge of art, and problem solve using their creative thinking in artist ways.
