Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

If my students are able to get these materials they will be exposed to a new art form, and new materials they would never use otherwise. My students will be able to express themselves and share with others their interpretation of the art they create. If we are able to get the Marbling Kits, students will be able to share what they learned with others and teach others how to use this art form.

I want my students to learn that art can be a form of stress relief and well as a creative expression.

Students also like to just be able to do something for the fun of it that is not related to State testing or any other work. They need the opportunity to be kids.

My students are in the Dual Language program and have been learning two languages since pre-kindergarten. They are great students who work hard to learn in two langagues.
