Help me give my students a great place to learn and grow through light table play. All these items would be amazing to help our math center in our classroom.
I am currently teaching in a Title I School District, which means that more than 50% of the whole school district is considered low income families. I teach special education preschool for the school district. The students I teacher are between ages 3-5 and have disabilities that prevent them from being in a general education classroom. My students disabilities range from autism, down syndrome, speech and language disorders, other health impairments, and developmental delay, etc.
Please help me provide great opportunities for the students to be able to learn and grow in their preschool setting.
My goal is to be able to have lots of options for my students to learn depending on their learning style here at preschool. The students I teach have a wide range of abilities and because of this, we need lots of different modifications for activities to be successful for them.
Help the future of our community in the early years to help their educational careers in the future.
My Project
This project will help the classroom increase its math center currently in the classroom. Patterning, sorting, and counting is 3 major sections of preschool math. This would be very engaging for the students and a new fun way to explore colors and light as well as math.
Help us fund this project to increase our math fluency among preschool students.
The students would also be able to use colored translucent pattern blocks to make pictures and creations as well during free play time. This would be a great way to help us start our stem section in our classroom as well.
More than half of students from low‑income households
