This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Do you remember what it was like to have to do a research project but you didn't have the advanced technology we have today?

Technology plays a critical role on educating today's students.

Almost half of my class is either an English Language Learner or goes to the Resource Specialist for curricular support. I want to provide all my students with an opportunity to succeed no matter what their challenges may be. Please help my students succeed in their learning with a tablet. The tablet will allow my enthusiastic fifth graders to learn with interactive activities and lessons which will make learning motivational and exciting.

My Project

With this tablet, my fifth graders will have the world in front of them, literally! They will use the tablet for research projects, power point presentations, use it as media center, learn computer based programs which focuses on math, english, and much more. The tablet will prepare them for middle school challenges. I hope to incorporate the tablet into my lessons on a daily basis.

I would highly appreciate if you would donate and help me bring up my students intellect to meet the challenges of today and tomorrow.

I'm ecstatic to see my students be up-to-date in the field of technology. This will greatly enhance my ability to teach and my students ability to learn about the world we live in. Thank you all so much for your generosity.
