This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Ever since the Apple Pencil came out I have been beyond excited at its potential for digital art. I would like to purchase books to help me master the iPad app called Procreate. The art world is today more than ever becoming electronic. By showing my students what their iPads are capable of, I can help inspire them in a new medium.

I would also like a toned sketchbook to practice figure drawings and still lives so that I may show my students how to render realistic textures and proportionate anatomy/ portraits.

I plan to use the charcoal pencils to help explore a white on black technique for rendering the human form.

The liquid color pencil blender will allow me to experiment achieving ultra smooth gradients and watercolor brushes will replace a set that has frankly seen better days.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
