My students are diverse in culture, and nearly eighty percent are from low income households. They are very enthusiastic and love hands-on learning activities. Also, we have a large diverse student population from around the world. The students are from a low socioeconomic area and have many needs. We have a small art room budget.
My students and I are in need of a special classroom printer that will be used not just for ordinary printing and scanning, but that uses specialized ink to use in a variety of design and other art classes.
There are many things I love about my students, one of which is what I learn about them through their art. Something not so obvious just from talking to them. I’ve had a student from Africa share and reflect about his home village when asked about a clay piece he made. It is such a wonderful joy getting to know my students though teaching them art!
Please help my students to do more advanced design projects by acquiring an inkjet printer and printing supplies for my design fundamental classes. We are requesting an inkjet printer for art projects in design class and linoleum cutting and ink supplies for linoleum block printing.
I am looking to upgrade my classroom printer to do advanced printing projects such as image transfers onto clay, t shirts, wood, and other materials.
This printer also works as an everyday printer and scanner.
I also am wanting linoleum cutting tools and blades for a soft linoleum block printing project where the students will carve out a stamp and use this stamp to create a pattern on larger squares of paper, muslin, wood, or other materials.
