Exploring Art and Technology

My Project

My students are from a Title One environment and have limited access to newer technology. Though Covid 19 impacted us in core classes, the learning has been impacted especially in the arts areas.

The technology requested will allow students to use a new technology they haven't had access to in order to complete computer design and visual graphics.

This is a real world skill and gives students the opportunity to work on areas they are drawn to. We plan to use this technology to help design cards for Veteran's Day, Valentines for senior citizens, and our local fire/police will receive thank you cards. This allows students to design and make cards with another medium than just typical markers. This ties into social emotional learning by connecting us to our community and spreading kindness.
